The Round of Eight is complete! We pitted the eight most hideous helmets in college football against one another and voters picked which were the ugliest. Thank you to the over 100 people who visited the site to register your votes. We’re now down to the four ugliest helmets in college football. Let’s look at the results in the bracket below.

The #1 and #4 seeds “won” easily and the candy stripped chrome of Indian topped the chrome of Chapel Hill. There was one close battle though, the chicken-footed Hokie atrocity nearly knocked out the Maryland state flag helmets. Instead the #3 Maryland flag helmet advances with a 55%-45% “victory” to face #2 Indiana (the candy stripe helmet is a reference to this). Meanwhile the kitchen backsplash Hokie Stone helmet faces Notre Dame’s two face look. This round is a much bigger toss up and voting is now open. The new matchups are shown in the bracket above and pictures are included in the poll. Be sure to click the link above to vote in the Final Four as we narrow the bracket to the two biggest eye sores that college football players are putting on their heads.
